Their home is lively and filled with love, shared not just with their children but also with Lauren’s Parents and their two beloved ​dogs. Mini, a playful Goldendoodle, and Max, a loyal German Shepherd, are as much a part of the family.
The (not so) peaceful environment and the love and support of her family has allowed her to install her own recording studio to ​continue creating music that resonates with a wide audience, reflecting her life's journey and the deep emotions that

Probably when I was around 4 ​or 5 watching my dad play his ​piano, he couldn't read music ​but could really play and belt ​out a hit!

SURPRISED TO LEARN?
I’m a huge true crime and mystery nerd! ​When l'm not making music, or with the ​kids, I'm probably binge-watching Emma ​Kenny or Mr. Ballen. It's my way of ​unwinding. My husband does get ​concerned though, he calls them my ​'Death Murder Kills' and jokes about how ​he needs to sleep with one eye open.

DO YOU FIND IT CHALLENGING ​TO BE SO OPEN?
It’s always a bit nerve-wracking to put your ​deepest feelings out there for the world to ​hear. But I've realized that vulnerability is ​what makes the connection with listeners so ​powerful. When someone tells me that my ​song helped them through something, it ​makes it all worth it. Someone messaged me ​and told me my song 'You'll Find Your Way' ​gave them a little extra hope, That felt ​wonderful to hear.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR ​MUSIC TO SOMEONE
WHO'S NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE?
Honest storytelling! I love mixing genres, ​so you might hear a little bit of blues, ​country, and even some pop influences. But ​at its core, it's all about connecting with ​people through real-life experiences.
I can't write a song unless I’ve lived it, or ​it's affected me. There is always ​something personal in there. With If In ​Doubt', that started as a joke because its ​always been my best advice.....If in ​doubt....DON'T! Simple!!

WHAT'S THE STORY BEHIND ‘MY FAVORITE MISTAKE’?
THIS IS THE ONE SONG THAT IS LESS RELATABLE TO ANYONE AND FEELS ​VERY PERSONAL.
This one's really close to my heart. It's about a time in my life when 1 was ​going through a lot of changes. I met my soul mate in Hong Kong in 2008, ​The song reflects that journey of feeling trapped and finding my own way ​and being okay with not having everything figured out. I think a lot of people ​can relate to that. Maybe not from Hong Kong in 2008... But still!
